Priyamani in Telugu 'Naadodigal'
Tollywood, used to see Priyamani in glamorous roles, is in for a surprise: She will be playing a performance-oriented role in the remake of Tamil hit 'Naadodigal', to be directed by Samuthirakani.
The talented actress, who bagged the National Award for the Best Actress for her stunning performance in 'Paruthiveeran', has been doing many a glamour role in Telugu and Tamil so as to change her "village belle" image.
Recently, her performance in 'Thirakkatha', a Malayalam film by Ranjith was critically acclaimed and she missed the Kerala State Award for Best Actress by a whisker.
Ravi Teja, Allari Naresh and Navdeep will play the lead roles in the Telugu 'Naadodigal' and Sasi Kumar, the hero in the Tamil version, will debut in Telugu with a cameo.
