The 'oomphy' Mumtaz was once touted as the likeliest choice to be the queen of Kollywood glam. But despite sizzling turns in songs like Kattipudi, Kattupidi da with Vijay in Khushi and Malai, Malai in Chocolate with Prasanth, Lady Luck did not favour her. 
Now a slimmer and younger-looking Mumtaz is back to stake her claim as Tamil's glam girl. 
"For any heroine to survive in this industry glamour is a must, and I'm here to stay on my terms," says Mumtaz, who has a few films in her kitty. "I want to provide the oomph factor in a far more convincing manner, without looking vulgar"
