Rumours were that superstar of Bollywood, Salman Khan will not be able to celebrate Ganesha Chaturthi this year but Salman will not deceive his deity for the sake of a busy schedule.

Bollywood scriptwriter Salim Khan, the day had double significance with Ramadan fasting and then worshipping Lord Ganesh at their Bandra West home, in the presence of the entire family, friends, neighbours and other Bollywood stars.

The statue of lord Ganesha loomed in at the home of Salman, later this evening. Salman has always rejoiced with this festival and has not missed any. Moreover, not only in real life but the actor will also be seen celebrating the festival on silver screen with his upcoming film "Wanted". He will be seen opposite Ayesha Takia in the film which is directed by ace choreographer Prabhu Deva who will making his debut as a director with this flick.

Punjabi munda Sarvar Ahuja is for the first time celebrating Ganeshutsav, with the commotion that matches up to the Maharashtrain spirit.
Ahuja hails from Hyderabad. He only recently moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career, commencing with a reality show ‘Cine Star Ki Khoj’. As he is Punjabi by birth, he has not witness the furor of this kind during Ganeshutsav ever before, as he is new to aamchi Mumbai.
But now that he is in Mumbai, and is also a part of the serial that is culturally based in Maharashtra he is witnessing the delight of rejoicing the festival in a grand way, way beyond his expectation.
He fits in the brigade of actors who have struck the perfect balance between films and television. Hope Lord Ganesha gives him all the strength to keep up the right balancing act.
