The birthday of the Lord Krishna is also known as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami and it will come on 14 August, 2009 on this year. This festival is celebrated with great elaboration by Hindus across the length and breadth of India.During this occasion, people indulge in cheer for almost two days. To celebrate the birth of the deity, bhajans are sung at the midnight stroke on Janmashtami.
