His last movie thrilled us down with his horror flick, ‘Yaavarum Nalam’. But his ‘Guru En Aalu’ was received with lukewarm response. Now, seems like R. Madhavan has turned to Bollywood for solace.

He will be next seen in Piyush Jha’s ‘Sikandar’ along with famous kiddie couple - Parzun Dastur and Ayesha Kapur. After this the Southie actor has his hands full with attractive offers teaming with interesting personalities. He will be again seen with his ‘Rang De Basanti’ co-star Aamir Khan in ‘3 Idiots’. Then sources reveal that he will share screen with Big B, Sushmita Sen and Ben Kingsley in ‘Teen Patti’. Madhavan has also Anand L. Roy’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. And now the search for the heroine is finally over. Kangana Ranaut has been roped in this rib-tickling movie.

But does that mean Madhavan has ignored his south roots? No, he will be back on the Tamil screens with ‘Naan Aval Adhu’ opposite Shamita Shetty and Sadha. Directed by Kona Venkat, the movie will be simultaneously dubbed in Telugu too. ‘Naan Aval Adhu’ is said to be a remake of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Darling’.

Madhavan is a busy man these days with whole lot of Hindi projects in hand. Moreover, this lucky-chap of Bollywood has no plan to make his way back to Kollywood. With his film ‘Sikandar’ produced by Big Pictures ready to hit the screens shortly, he has also almost finished shooting for Aamir Khan starrer ‘3 Idiots’ a novel adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s ‘Five Point Someone’.

Another film ‘Teen Patti’ remake of Hollywood movie ‘21’ (teams up with Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley) is in the pipeline.

Recently, he has signed up for a Hindi film titled ‘Madhu weds Tanu’ directed by Anand L Roy. Kangana Ranaut has been signed for starring opposite Madhavan in lead role. Madhavan’s ‘Naan Aval Adhu’ remake of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Darling’ will soon hit the screens by the first week of August.

The talented actress, who bagged the National Award for the Best Actress for her stunning performance in 'Paruthiveeran', has been doing many a glamour role in Telugu and Tamil so as to change her "village belle" image.

Recently, her performance in 'Thirakkatha', a Malayalam film by Ranjith was critically acclaimed and she missed the Kerala State Award for Best Actress by a whisker.

Ravi Teja, Allari Naresh and Navdeep will play the lead roles in the Telugu 'Naadodigal' and Sasi Kumar, the hero in the Tamil version, will debut in Telugu with a cameo.

Prabhu Deva is making his Bollywood debut with 'Wanted: Dead and Alive', a remake of his Tamil blockbuster 'Pokkiri'. The Salman Khan film is being produced by Boney Kapoor. Even before the release of his debut film, Prabhu is getting many offers in Hindi and he plans to cast Nayan in one of them, it is said.

Earlier, there were rumours that Nayan and Prabhu tied the knot at Tirupathi last month. But the duo had vehemently denied the rumours.

Her major rivals in south Indian cinema for the top heroine spot, Asin has already made a stunning debut with Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini' and Trisha has been signed up by Priyadarshan for his Akshay Kumar film, 'Khatta Meetta'.

Following the lines of Trisha, Asin and Genelia, it is said that Nayantara had been secretively eyeing a career in Bollywood, though she never openly disclosed it. And now, with her boy friend Prabhudeva making waves there, she is said to be a Bollywood heroine soon.

The actress, remarkably, has signed no Tamil film now, apart from ‘Aadhavan’ with Suriya, which is already underway. She is doing a couple of Telugu and Malayalam projects, but it is said that she hasn’t taken up more offers to keep herself available for a Bollywood project, which may be confirmed anytime soon.

After the thumping success of Konchem Ishtamga Konchem Kashtamga, young Siddharth is getting ready with this year's second film Oye, directed by debutant Anand Ranga, associate for the blockbuster hit Bommarillu, and produced by D.V.V. Danayya under the banner of Universal Media. Oye will grace screens on July 3.

Shamili, who won the hearts of millions in South India with her outstanding performance at age four in Mani Ratnam’s Anjali, is the heroine. Producer Danayya said he is confident that her performance, freshness and girl-next-door looks would be the main asset of Oye. "Our film is a clean romantic entertainer with youthful energy. Apart from Siddardh’s presence, I am sure that Shamili’s performance will be talked about after the release," he said.

Touted to be a poetic love story with an unusual climax, the film revolves around two youngsters who get together in the climax by overcoming all hurdles. Sunil, Ali, Pradeep Rawat, M.S. Narayana, Tanikella Bharani, Krishnudu, Surekhavani, Master Bharat and others are in the cast.

Notably, popular actor Napoleon, who was recently appointed minister in the Manmohan Singh cabinet, is making his re-entry in Telugu as Siddharth's father in Oye. The film's music by Yuvanshankar Raja has already got good response from the market; the lyrics have been penned by Vanamali, Chandrabose, Ananth Sriram, Surendra Krishna and Krishna Chaitanya.

Ayngaran International's 'Sarvam' directed by Vishnuvardhan is a stylish romantic – thriller flick starring Arya and Trisha. Vishnu is coming back with his blue-eyed boy Arya after 'Arindhum Ariyamalum' and 'Pattiyal'. Considered as the most stylish film of the time, 'Billa' starring Ajith was a super hit for the director and he is keen to cope up with the abounding expectations.
Adding to the hype is, Arya's latest 'Naan Kadavul' in which he has meticulously worked for three years and came out with an astounding performance. In an interview, he said that Bala was so concerned about his next project and was happy when he came to know it is 'Sarvam'. The on-screen chemistry between Arya and Trisha is said to have evolved beautifully.
The title 'Sarvam' is christened by the makers depicting the fact that in any one's life within a fraction of a second, their whole life could change outright for good or bad. No one has the control over the consequences that happens all of a sudden.
'Sarvam' has some good reasons to be anticipated with the first being Vishnuardhan's script. A Civil engineer (Arya) and a child specialist doctor (Trisha) falls in love and all goes well until they run into a gang leader who's chasing a father and son for unknown reasons. Jam packed with action and thrilling elements, Vishnu has co-written the screenplay with his associate Gokul.
An interesting factor is popular Malayalam actor Indrajith (as the father) and Telugu director JD Chakravarthy (who acted in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Sathya' a decade back) is in the cast for giving a fresh look to the movie. Rohan, a young boy is debuting in the role of the son. Cinematography in action- thriller flicks carries a lot of weightage and the responsibility is shouldered by ace cinematographer Neerva Shah (Dhoom, Pokkiri, Billa) while editing is handled by Srigar Prasath.
Musical score composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja is peppy and lively. The audio recently launched is going good in the charts. Billa's rocking background score gave a rich feel for the movie and Yuvan is said to have recreated the magic once again. Out of the five songs, one of it has been shot completely featuring CGI effects which will enthrall the audience. In present times, stunts are being choreographed so realistic and the same way is undertaken for this film. Art direction by Manu Jagath alias Manoj, who is a long-time associate of Sabu Cyril is one of the major assets. First half of the film has been shot in Chennai while the entire second half has been done in Munnar.
Vishnuvardhan always delves into disparate themes with films like 'Arindhum Ariyamalum', 'Pattiyal' and 'Billa' to his credit. 'Sarvam' made by a dedicated and talented cast & crew is a flick to watch out for which will hit the screens today.

Review : Karthik (Arya) is a flamboyant, brave architect who does things in his own style. Sandhya (Trisha) a young and beautiful pediatrician became a doctor for the love of children. Love sweeps these two opposite poles. Meanwhile Naushad (Indrajith) and his beloved eight year old son Imaan (Rohan) is threatened to be revenged by mentally imbalanced Eashwar (J.D. Chakravathy). What makes him torture an eight year old boy and his father is kept secret. Somehow the two tales are entwined through series of events and Karthik finds himself threatened by Eshwar.The twist of fate leads to thrilling climax between two men, one with utmost courage to protect life and the other with insane power to destroy the same. The secret slowly reveals a shocking story behind the happenings.This movie will be nice experience to watch. Its a blend of romance ,comedy and emotions. Must watch assured.
